Dubai International Academy Al Barsha offers a variety of Co-Curricular Activities. Co-curricular activities are activities that are outside of, but usually complementing the regular curriculum. Our CCAs help our students become more involved in our school and community and support our DIA Sharks to develop their social and soft skills, while promoting wellbeing.
We are very active members of DASSA, the largest and longest running school sports association in the UAE. The DASSA leagues and competitions give students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to represent their school and showcase their talents in a structured and safe sporting environment. This term we will be participating in swimming, netball, basketball, cross country, football, cricket, rounders, rippa tag, aquathon and athletics.
Are you ready for ROUND 1 of our TERM 1 sign up for school led CCAs? Our Squad trials were completed last term, and team selections have been announced. In addition to those, you have CCA options – the various CCAs have been shared, now it is time to make your selection. Yes, there will be a ROUND 2 selection for the Primary School students.
